Cormorant flat is situated in Lakeside in a charming row of houses in a quiet, safe, cul-de-sac that borders onto the Sandvlei nature conservation area with direct access to the Lake. Lakeside is a small Cape Town suburb between the Muizenburg mountain and the Sandvlei lake. Flat interior Cormorant flat features a double volume lounge/kitchen with picture windows facing the mountain view and French doors leading onto the patio. There is also a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The lounge/kitchen has a sleeper couch and is fully equipped with a microwave, hotplate, kettle and fridge. Our facilities include a TV, braai (barbeque) facilities, use of the swimming pool and off-street parking.


The flat is located close to the historic False Bay coast which offers numerous recreational opportunities. These include the Muizenburg and Fishoek beaches, Kalk bay fisherman's village, the historic naval port of Simonstown, boulders penguin colony, Cape Point and much much more. The immediate environment of the flat is a birdwatcher's haven, fisherman's and nature lover's time out providing a beautiful and restful area to relax after a day out - just a few steps away you can enjoy a picnic on the grass next to the lake and watch the kingfishers, cormorants and pelicans. It is an easy walk to shops and restaurants.
